Seriously, Penang needs a good club. Something that doesn’t play David Guetta and the Black eye Peas every single night. I mean I am cool with the new electro pop but overplaying David fucking Guetta is just lame.

Secondly, bouncers should be able to hold ppl up outside the club. If you’re a tukau with blond hair, you’re disallowed going in. If there are too many dicks on the dancefloor, you stop letting the dudes in. Simple as that.

And PLEASE HAVE FUCKING beer which is at least chilled. That’s all I ask for.

2. A bar/venue for live music

Soundmaker (Cheong’s palce at Weld Quay) is where the indie music scene is surviving at the moment in Penang. However, it’s mostly metal and hardcore gigs. Penang needs a variety of music. I wanna start an electro band. Anybody interested?

3. Less Tukaus

Enough said on this one.

What makes leaving even more sad, is  that I will be leaving the people that I have been graciously given the opportunity to have crossed paths and work with (and get shamelessly wasted with as well) for the past 3 and a half years. From all those dinners, company trips, the MICPASS accounting games, I’ve had the time of my life! Tze En told me on the night of my farewell party at QE2 on Saturday (which around 30 – 40 of em attended!! ), Once a PwCian Always a PwCian.

Returning my laptop and the rest of my stuff on Monday came with a tinge of sadness. After saying my goodbyes, I slowly trotted out to the lifts. As the lift doors opened, I glanced back to the office main door which had the words PRICEWATERHOUSECOOPERS proudly hanging above it. I said my last goodbye, walked in the lift and as the doors shut my heart felt empty for awhile. I realised that it was the emptiness which hits you when something you hold very dear is finally gone. For after 3 years and 8 months of collectively working, suffering and having fun with my colleagues, we had effectively become a family. A family. :)

This was the view I had for the first 4 months of 2010. Stunning eh.

But I will tell you this much.I love this place because they were blasting Audioslave and have recently adopted the pay as you feel like concept meaning you pay them how much you think you ought to pay them. Something like how Radiohead started selling their recent Rainbows album online.

So, be adventurous and check em out yourself. Nuff said. I’m awesome.

Looking back in my mere 25 so years of existence on this beautifully architectured world,  I have always struggled with BiPolar disorder or a split personality. Always wanting to be on the wild side but at the same time knowing I have to keep my reigns in, I usually end up being too wild on one night and too quiet the next. This disparsity drives me insane, because when I start feeling down and emo, I look back at my life and wished I had studied harder or bummed harder, or concentrated on my career a little bit more or had gotten high more often.

Anyway, I’ve finally recorded something and put something out. A one man band called 11 Danae Street which is the street address my family stayed in when we were in Adelaide.

Hopefully, I can get a myspace out to make things easier but having trouble customising the damm page. So for now if anyone wants to check it out the song (which is called Unto Me btw) is residing at my second blog over here.
